Sat at the bar-had great service from all team members. Greeted promptly with a friendly hostess, guided to the bar and had a stellar meal, a few beverages and an engaging experience with the bar team. Everyone was courteous and experienced. Food, beverage and ambience top notch!

Wonderful! Enjoyed every minute of being there. Oysters were fresh and delicious, paired with cava 10/10. For the main course I took pork steak and it was amazing! The most tasty pork I have ever eaten. Outside terrace is amazing as well. Definitely will visit again when back to DC.

I cannot believe this place is not a 5/5 across the board. The decor is incredible. The service was on par with 3 star Michelin restaurants. Staff were incredibly nice. Coat check for my jacket. The somm was very well informed, approachable, knowledgeable, not intimidating. Very nice wine list. The cocktails were great. Excellent presentation. Honestly one of the best restaurants in dc, and I’m ashamed I waited so long to go here. As the city is beginning to change, I think this is a tentpole in what’s returning to be a great neighborhood of dining in dc.

Can I give them SIX STARS?! The chefs at Annabelle take no shortcuts. Started off with a flavorful amuse bouche of a date-covered nut with lime accents —wonderful. Then the bread (I prefer the multigrain brown bread so nutty and tasty), salads (roasted beet salad (tasty dressed greens); squash salad), beef tenderloin (cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, au jus just took it to the next level)with herbed mushrooms, and the salmon (crispy skin, and flavorful sauce with roe, a party in your mouth), all prepared perfectly and seasoned to perfection. And then to finish with the German chocolate dessert — delicious ganache, cake strips, coconut/nut nougat-like pieces with pecans and a crispy coconut wafer, for a dessert with all the textures. Finally they hit us with another complimentary dessert of tiny chocolate layer cakes to commemorate our anniversary. And our amazing waiter Israel handled all with aplomb. Cannot wait to return for their next seasonal offerings!!

I live right by this restaurant and haven’t had a chance to try it until last night. I was very impressed by the whole experience. The server was incredibly helpful and attentive. I can’t quite recall his name, but he was a tall, slender gentleman. He had tasteful jokes and tasty recommendations. My guest and I enjoyed the beef tenderloin tartare, grilled octopus, striped bass, and bay salmon. I have no negative remarks. Will certainly be dining here again!

They understand gluten free and explained the items that could be modified on top of the menu already being marked GF or not. We had a wonderful dinner and felt even better when they brought the plates out and mentioned the gluten precaution as they sat it down. Always appreciate this, it’s the small things in our world. They had a few GF desserts as well and bought out a gluten free cookie with the check. Very nice experience all the way around.

Ate here during restaurant week 2023. Dishes I tried ranked best to worst: * Handcut Tagliatelle - Unbelievably comforting * Chilled Melon and Lime Soup - Super creamy and fresh with a little kick * Banana pudding tart - texturally very interesting * Lime posset * Spotted skate wing * Rhode island squid - difficult to eat Service was out of this world. Staff was knowledgeable on every dish and eager to talk about them. They knew our party’s name (always fun to see) and would even come wipe down the table if there was any condensation on it.

Great spot! I sat at the bar, great drinks and even better service. David and Leo behind the bar were attentive and knowledgeable. Pork belly was delicious! Definitely hope to visit again soon.
